The underwear has integrated 4-layer textile technology in the groin area that wicks moisture away from the skin, absorbs it and prevents leakage.

Organic Materials
Bamboo fibre and organic cotton. Waterproof PUL fabric is used to prevent moisture from passing through. The elastic is made from spandex and viscose to fit your body perfectly. All our products are PFAS, PFOS and PFOA free.
Our recycled nylon is made exclusively from regenerated waste material using a mechanical process that is completely chemical-free. This reduces CO2 emissions by 80% and water consumption by 99% compared to yarn made from new polymer.
How to use
With period pants, you no longer need pads or tampons: they absorb your flow themselves.
Washing instructions: rinse in cold water after use, machine wash at 30°C, use no fabric conditioner and line dry. We don't recommend the tumble dryer. With the right care, they last 2+ years.

Maysa Period Wear is made from certified, health-safe materials. Gynaecologists recommend wearing it for 8-12 hours, depending on your period. The absorbent layer is antibacterial for optimal hygiene. The underwear can be washed at up to 60 degrees without losing its absorbency, but this can affect its lifespan and colour; therefore, it is preferable to wash at 40 degrees.
Contrary to popular belief, you are not soaked in your own discharge when wearing period panties.
The top layer in the crotch is breathable and dries very quickly. The airy fabric allows the fluid to flow quickly through the inside of the panty, so that the surface feels dry. The fluid is thus wicked away, collected and retained by the absorbent fabric underneath, in the core of the panty.
Maysa period underwear is designed to minimise odours. The absorbent layer contains antibacterial treatments that prevent bacterial growth and thus odours. This keeps you feeling fresh and confident all day long.
Once or twice a day. You can wear one pair of underwear for 8-12 hours. However, this depends on the heaviness of your period. For days with heavy periods, we recommend choosing models designed for heavy or extra heavy periods.

My daughter had her first period just before a holiday. I don't get periods any more myself, so I needed to sort something quickly. Ordered straight away, a few days later it arrived fine. Ordered day and night pants as well as swimming bottoms. What an invention. So easy and comfortable. Easy to look after. Not cheap, but once you've got plenty in the house you're set for a long time. I bought this underwear for my daughter after positive reviews (I'd previously bought period underwear from another brand). I was so impressed by the quality of the service, but above all the product! The softness and 'thinness' of the underwear stands out compared to the other brands. A solid ten out of ten from my daughter, and more importantly for the absorption, because she has a heavy period, so we were both sceptical at first.
I have no complaints. My daughter has tried other brands and likes the Maysa ones best. They fit well, the sides are just thin fabric, and only the crotch has an absorbent layer. No leaks yet. They are expensive, but if you add up how much you spend on period products over the years, they are well worth the money. Washing is fine too, as long as you follow the instructions.
I ordered these period pants for my daughter to wear on school days when she has her period. It is sometimes difficult for her to go to the toilet to change her sanitary pad, and this was a good solution. She can wear them for a whole school day without leaking. She found them comfortable and not tight around her bottom or hips. They are easy to wash and reuse. They provide comfort and extra protection when combined with sanitary pads as an insert, or without an extra pad on lighter days or nights. These period pants are great. They're very stretchy. My daughter is a tiny UK 6, but they fit her well. She wears them along with other period protection, just to be sure nothing leaks, because she doesn't want to take any risks with an accident, so they do exactly what they are supposed to do.

I really cannot recommend this product enough. My daughter, now 16, wears Maysa period pants. On most days one pair lasts her the whole day, and on heavier days she changes once.
With these briefs, it's all about the right size. It's not a cheap product to try out, but if you get the right size, it's definitely worth it. This size was a bit too small for my daughter. They do stretch, but were just a little too tight for her. They also sit quite high on the thigh, which she had to get used to. Otherwise, the quality is good, and it is really worth the effort to find the right size together with the brand. Period products are expensive, and reusable ones pay for themselves.

We got these in the smallest size (XS) because my 14-year-old daughter is very slim. She normally wears a UK 6. These briefs fit her perfectly because they stretch. The fabric is soft and silky, and you don't see any lines through your clothes. As with all Maysa briefs, there is a highly absorbent gusset that catches leaks. My daughter finds them incredibly comfortable, and they are nice as extra security against unexpected leaks. However, she doesn't rely on them completely and wears them mainly on light days. I think the story behind this company is beautiful. Take a moment to read about founder Iris and why what they do is so important. For what you get, I think the price is really good. These are not ordinary briefs. I wish I had had them when I was young. Definitely recommended.
