The underwear has integrated 4-layer textile technology in the groin area that wicks moisture away from the skin, absorbs it and prevents leakage.
1. Absorbent layer: The quick-drying fabric absorbs all moisture for optimal comfort.
2. Highly absorbent fabric: The hygienic layer neutralises odours and has an absorption capacity equivalent to three basic pads, making it suitable for both heavy and light menstrual days.
3. Impermeable membrane: This membrane remains impermeable to moisture even after 50 washes and has a breathability that significantly reduces odour formation.

Bamboo fibre and organic cotton. Waterproof PUL fabric is used to prevent moisture from passing through. The elastic is made from spandex and viscose to fit your body perfectly. All our products are PFAS, PFOS and PFOA free.

Maysa Period Wear is made from certified, health-safe materials. Gynaecologists recommend wearing it for 8-12 hours, depending on your period. The absorbent layer is antibacterial for optimal hygiene. The underwear can be washed at up to 60 degrees without losing its absorbency, but this can affect its lifespan and colour; therefore, it is preferable to wash at 40 degrees.
Contrary to popular belief, you are not soaked in your own discharge when wearing period panties.
The top layer in the crotch is breathable and dries very quickly. The airy fabric allows the fluid to flow quickly through the inside of the panty, so that the surface feels dry. The fluid is thus wicked away, collected and retained by the absorbent fabric underneath, in the core of the panty.
Maysa period underwear is designed to minimise odours. The absorbent layer contains antibacterial treatments that prevent bacterial growth and thus odours. This keeps you feeling fresh and confident all day long.

My daughter thinks these absorb much more than the period pants from a supermarket brand, which she leaked through. So far, no leakage with these and she finds them really comfortable! They are a good choice for the long term and you can save money with them, but do keep in mind that if your child is still growing fast, you might need to replace them sooner than you think because the size changes. But all in all, they work very well and it has been a positive experience so far.

I bought these in advance for my daughter, who is about to start puberty. She is quite sensitive to clothing labels and didn't like the idea of sanitary pads or tampons. I wanted her to experience this less-than-pleasant part of puberty as comfortably as possible. I had only ordered the smallest size, and unfortunately, it was quite small, so I needed a size up. I contacted Maysa; they said I could return them, and that is what I did. The order has been exchanged for the larger size. Hopefully, they will work as promised when the time comes, and I don't think that will be much longer.
A real godsend for my neurodivergent teenager. She struggles with certain fabrics and how things feel, and sanitary pads sometimes just don't feel comfortable to her. You can wear these pants with or without a pad, which makes it much more comfortable for her. Not a single leak yet, not even on the heavier first days. The quality is top-notch. The fabric is soft and shiny. So far, no problems with absorption, and she can wear them for a whole school day without any hassle. They stretch well, even though they look smaller than you would think, and they fit perfectly. I soak them in cold water for 20 minutes, then wash them at 30°C and hang them outside or on a drying rack if the weather is bad, and they dry just fine. The quality remains good even after washing.
Maysa's products are great. My daughters use them for school, especially on PE days, and for sleepovers. They really take the stress away from their periods, and I would definitely recommend the underwear. However, Maysa's customer service could be better, as I had to wait a long time for a reply to my email regarding sizes and returns.
